The fireman on the wagon is Frank G. Kuhn, father of the baseball player from 1930 ( see the Bravest Baseball team )

Frank was appointed as Fireman 4th grade in 1904 and assigned to Engine 28, in 1904.

My great-grandfather Raymond J.F. Coakley retired as a Captain in the NYFD and we found these pics and thought you might be interested.
He served in the NYFD from June 16, 1916 and retired August 21, 1958, Kathleen Paris.
